Many varieties of ferns, including the Sword Fern, Lady Fern, and Deer Fern are abundant. Wildflowers, include the Trilliums in scattered colonies, and Bleeding Harts and Vanilla Leaf. Mushrooms are aboundant in season, including the Morral.
Plus many mosses and lichens to numerous to list here. The host of wild berries in the forest include, Red Huchelberries, Salmon Berries, Wild Blackberries, and Wild Black Raspberries.
The forest is home to numerous songbirds, and woodpeckers frequent regularily. The forest was home to a small family of Mountain Beavers, but they left several years ago. Occasionally, a family of Mallard ducks will cross over on their way from the Lake. At present, no large animals inhabit the forest, but sometimes travel through.

Redmond and the greater surrounding communities offers many employment opportunities for job seekers of all profession and trade categories and skill levels.
